Laura Kauth has been certified as a Course Director by the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation. This certification is obtained through the accumulation of over 1000 hours of hearing conservation experience, participation in CAOHC approved training courses, and completion of a CAOHC workshop on course direction. Course Directors are certified to organize and conduct certification and recertification courses for Occupational Hearing Conservationists (OHCs).
Laura earned her Master of Arts degree from the University of Iowa. As Audiology Consultants' industrial audiologist, she supervises OSHA mandated Hearing Conservation Programs (HCPs), speaks at occupational safety conferences and events, and consults on subjects such as sound surveys, OSHA requirements, and conservation implementation. She is a member of the National Hearing Conservation Association, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the Iowa Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the Quad City Speech and Hearing Association.
